Fishery rules

  • Earliest arrival 12.00pm. Draw time 1.00pm.
  • Maximum of 3 rods, you may pay extra to use 4 rods if you wish - 40€
  • Mono main line only, minimum 15lbs b.s. Please make sure you have new line as you are fishing a lake with gravel bottom.
  • No barbless hooks. Microbarbs only.
  • No fixed leads
  • No lead core.
  • No bent hook rigs.
  • All fish are to be weighed, photographed and returned in the swims where they were caught.
  • Please make sure everything is fully prepared for safe unhooking weighing and photography before fish are removed from the water.
  • Buckets for water are provided along with heavy duty unhooking mats. These must be kept wet, and used to keep fish wet, with all captures.
  • Fish must be kept out of the water for the absolute minimum of time - no extended photo shots.
  • No sacking
  • La Fritterie -bait boats can be used if all anglers agree
  • No boating or swimming
  • No fires
  • No bright lights
  • No loud music
  • Absolutely no drugs
  • Excessive alcohol consumption will not be tolerated
  • No litter - including cigarette butts
  • No anglers under 16 years of age without constant adult supervision
  • Anglers must leave lake by 10am Saturday morning
  • 1 tin tiger nuts per angler
  • Maxiumum of 25 kilos of pellet per angler
  • Only hemp purchased on site may be used.
  • Only Tiger nuts purchased on site may be used ; maximum 10 kilos per group
  • You may bring other particles commercially prepared from Dynamite, etc. and Sweetcorn
  • At present we are allowing no maize whatsoever
  • Please pre order bait boats and bait orders, bivvy hire, etc.
  • You can use commercially prepared stick mixes and groundbait
  • Please note bait boats can be hired for 2 anglers to share at ¨€120 so you get 2 spare batteries.
